It Was Bound to Happen Sooner or Later

Sen. Arlen Specter of Pennsylvania announced today that he would switch his party affiliation from Republican to Democrat. This does not come as a surprise to anyone who has been watching the political scene, as he had been behaving and voting like a Democrat in everything but name for some time already.
