Colorado Springs Tea Party Photos

Our reward for contributing canned goods to the food drive: $500 in Monopoply money!

Singing the National Anthem.

Pikes Peak looms in the background.

Rep. Doug Lamborn proudly announces, "I have never voted for a tax increase - and I never will!"

Even this dog got into the spirit of the occasion.

Typical sampling of homemade signs.

Former state Sen. Ed Jones whipped the crowd to a light froth, to the point where some of his supporters were urging him to run for governor.

Doug Bruce, father of TABOR (Taxpayers' Bill of Rights), recommended that citizens take political action to curb the excesses of politicians.

Sen Ed Jones supprised me and yet thrilled me when he said he " wasn't an African-American I am a AMERICAN!" YES!! Your ALL so right Sen. Ed Jones. Great Speach! As we are ALL AMERICANS and "WE" as citzens of the UNITED STATES of AMERICA, must ALL remember this.

That reminds me of what President Theodore Roosevelt had to say: "There can be no fifty-fifty Americanism in this country. There is room here for only 100% Americanism, only for those who are Americans and nothing else."
