Where Is the Equality of Sacrifice?

It never ceases to amaze me how many sacrifices people are willing to make, as long as they perceive that these demands on their time, talents, and resources are distributed fairly. Hugh Hewitt, in his latest column, brings up the ugly fact that tort reform is not on the table at this time, and that trial lawyers (who are among the most generous contributors to Democratic candidates and causes) are still a protected class.
