Latest reports from FOX News indicate that rebel forces are approaching Gaddafi's hometown, Sirte (Surt), located about halfway between Benghazi and Tripoli, while multi-national air strikes have been directed at this city. It appears likely that the forces under Gaddafi's command will make a stand there.
UPDATE: A Reuters article says that the better-trained and organized troops defending the Gaddafi regime have started pushing back the rebel forces.
