ABC’s Walters Disses White House Christmas Card
The "World's Smallest Violin" award goes to Barbara Walters for complaining that she received a Christmas card from the White House with a Christian theme! In a Culture and Media Institute article, she publicly aired her dismay over the use of a quote from the Bible by President and Mrs. Bush on "The View."
"Later in the show Walters did say, 'By the way, I don’t want to put down the President of the United States and his wife. I think it’s very nice that they sent me a Christmas card.'
"Christmas greetings can be sent to Barbara Walters at the following address. CMI asks that Christmas greetings be worded in the spirit of the season."
