In a FOX News/Free Republic article, the "Republican presidential candidate’s piece in the January-February edition of Foreign Affairs said that Bush’s foreign policy is 'counterproductive,' and urged a shift in diplomatic tone. GOP rival Mitt Romney afterward condemned the comments and [Condoleezza] Rice called them 'simply ludicrous' on Friday." The news about Bush's "bunker mentality" was first reported on this blog on Tuesday; three days later Huckabee said he did not remember if he wrote the line.
