Five-term Congressman Tom Tancredo of Colorado announced today that he will be withdrawing from the race for the Republican presidential nomination. In a Newsmax.com article, the candidate most identified with taking a hard line on the illegal immigration problem announced that his continued presence could split the vote for other candidates whom he could count on to wave this banner.
