House Balks at Bailout Bill

A article said that the Senate's $700 billion bailout bill went down in flames in the House of Representatives. This rejection is not surprising in light of the fact that both houses of Congress know that this proposal is highly unpopular with the public. I agree with Rush Limbaugh, who said that this delay is not really a bad deal for the markets, as it's an indicator that our government will not act in undue haste in order to come up with a bill that President Bush can sign.
