UPDATE: Now, according to this Wall Street Journal article, Sen. Biden claims that God is on his side.

Some predict JB will be ousted for VP choice for the obvious, preferablly one more politically 'domesticated'.

If Gov. Sarah Palin slices and dices this motormouth in the vice presidential debate, he might drop out, but IMHO, dumping Biden does not appear to be in the cards at this time. The Obama campaign is deeply committed to the concept that a god doesn't make mistakes!
