CNS News has an article about how the former CEO of Godfather's Pizza beat Perry and Romney by a 2-to-1 margin in the Florida straw poll, which is considered a good predictor of Republican nominees for President.
Here are the results: Cain won 37.4 percent of the 2,657 votes cast at the event held in Orlando, Fla., with Perry placing second at 15.4 percent and Romney placing third at 14 percent. Former Sen. Rick Santorum of Pennsylvania finished fourth with 10.9 percent, followed by Rep. Ron Paul of Texas at 10.4 percent, former House Speaker Newt Gingrich of Georgia at 8.4 percent, former Utah Gov. Jon Huntsman with 2.3 percent, and Rep. Michele Bachmann of Minnesota with 1.5 percent.
UPDATE: William Kristol at the Weekly Standard interprets this turn of events as a vote of no confidence in the current front-runners Perry and Romney.
