Mystery of the Missing Vans

Digital Journal has information that should heighten vigilance, especially in 2 major American cities. Three rental trucks are reported missing in New York/Jersey City, and 2 more in Washington, DC.

...The theft of the U-Haul was planned with cut lines to phones and surveillance cameras.

This information comes in just days after the White House announced that there is a credible threat from terrorists set for the anniversary of September 11, 2001.

The three stolen vans in NYC have been added to the NYPD database because of the threat, still unconfirmed but credible. There are also two missing U-Haul vans in the Washington D.C. area.

It is thought that two of three suspects have traveled to the United States in the last week. These subjects speak English and have common names.

Police in New York City are on 12-hour shifts and extra personnel have been called in to New York and Washington.

UPDATE1: Major New York & Washington papers have not paid attention to this development, but are emphasizing that terror threats will not stop 9/11 events scheduled for tomorrow.

UPDATE2: It's almost midnight, EDT, and FOX31 News in Denver (KDVR-TV) says that no truck bombs have been found.
