Massive Underground River Discovered 13,000 Feet Below the Amazon

IBTIMES.tv has an amazing report about an underground river (named the Hamza River) in Brazil that collects groundwater and drains it from west to east like the Amazon. It flows at only 3% of the rate of the surface river, but can account for the low level of salinity at the Amazon's mouth.
