McCain's Gaffes Interpreted as Senior Moments

The liberal news site, Politico.com, describes how 71-year-old Sen. John McCain's many critics have been piling upon him every time he has a memory lapse or slip of the tongue.

"Just in the past three weeks, McCain has also mistaken 'Somalia' for 'Sudan,' and even football’s Green Bay Packers for the Pittsburgh Steelers." They have been more lenient when Barack Obama misspeaks. Such is life in the combat zone of presidential politics, where examples of chivalry are rare and no prisoners are taken.

UPDATE: It must be a slow news day at The Guardian when they run an article about John McCain accusing the media of being biased toward Obama, who is currently on a superstar tour of Europe, the Middle East, and Afghanistan.
