Tributes Pour In for Rush Limbaugh

Rush Limbaugh is the gold standard of talk radio, and Human Events has seen fit to celebrate his 20th anniversary by running a series of tributes this week.

UPDATE: Today, on his radio show, Rush counseled a disgruntled Democrat, Mrs. Lakoff (rhymes with), who "felt raped" because her candidate, Hillary Clinton, didn't win. He brought up the case of the 12-year-old girl in Vladimir Nabokov's "Lolita" who was raped by Humbert Humbert, yet returned to his bed. 'You see,' Humbert tells the reader, 'she had absolutely nowhere else to go.'

Ever felt the same way about the party of your choice, whether Republican or Democrat? There are millions of Republicans who still have faith in the Constitution and limited government, and numerous Democrats who believe in God, country, and family values, who are beginning to realize that the leaders of their respective parties are selling them down the river because they have been corrupted by the mad pursuit of the ring of power (to use an analogy from "Lord of the Rings"). That's why I gave Col. Riley of Patriots Revolt a platform to disseminate his ideas on this blog.
