We are saddened to announce that virtual-reality pioneer Dr. Randy Pausch, 47, passed away earlier today at his home in Virginia of incurable pancreatic cancer, which was diagnosed in September 2006. He is survived by his wife, Jai, and three children, Dylan, Logan and Chloe.
