3,653 Post Offices May Be Closing

Daily Finance reports on a postal system that's drowning in red ink:

The Postal Regulatory Commission, which oversees the U.S. Postal Service, has suggested that the USPS release a list of 3,651 post offices, mostly in rural areas, that could be closed as a budget-cutting measure. In the last reported quarter, the USPS has lost over $2.2 billion, and could run out of money as soon as September....
