The Daily Mail (U.K.) has an astonishing illustrated article about the Cairo [Egypt] suburb of Manshiyat Naser, or Garbage City. The Zabbaleens who live there are part of the Christian minority, and make a good living by doing the dirty work, such as salvaging recyclable materials, that most Muslims will not.
