Glenn Beck's The Blaze reports that the city of Oak Park, MI is coming down hard on Julie Bass for planting a vegetable garden in her front yard.
The city and the Bass family are at odds over the meaning of the local code that reads;
“...all unpaved portions of the site shall be planted with grass or ground cover or shrubbery or other suitable live plant material”
Ms. Bass has started a blog, Oak Park Hates Veggies, to chronicle her running battle with the city.
